At Ty Capel, in the village of Darowen near Machynlleth, in the heart of the UNESCO recognised Dyfi Biosphere, we provide a less stressful alternative to kennels.
We've enjoyed our first year of dog boarding in our home, taking in some delightful dogs while their owners went away on holiday or to special functions. Alas our personal circumstances are changing, and it'll no longer be possible for us to take on new dogs that are unfamiliar to us.
If your dog has stayed with us previously, or our dogs have otherwise been introduced, we're more than happy to accomododate you in the future. We only take in one dog at a time to ensure they get our full attention, and ensure no mixing unfamiliar dogs. For just a few hours while you go to the cinema or have friends round for dinner, or they can stay for a few weeks while you take a cruise! Your dog can have their holiday with us.
Human bookings at Ty Capel Studio can no longer be combined with dog boarding.
We now have a resident dog living with us.
All dog boarding must be discussed with us in advance.
Our home and garden has been fully assessed for dog boarding by Powys County Council, and we are formally registered with them.
Our dearly loved, and much missed, Lorenzo, a Cirneco dell'Etna prince, is the reason we wanted to provide excellent home boarding.
